About

Abour Energy Company (AEC) is a 51.75MW wind power plant, established in 2013, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The plant consists of 15 wind turbines and a 132/33 kV substation.

The company is a joint venture between Xenel and AMEA Wind, with a 20-year offtake from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) of Jordan.

The project has been developed in line with the latest government policies specially designed for the energy sector whereas it encourages investments in renewable and sustainable energy.
